High Purity Technology has long been perfecting the cleaning and polishing skills necessary to meet high purity requirements. We offer these services for a full range of high tech products such as pipe, coils, fittings, valves and other components. HPT approaches our cleaning and electropolishing service with the same integrity and high standards we maintain for our tube and fitting products.
Cleaning:
Cleaning of all our components will meet the specifications set forth by the customer. Our experienced staff is available to assist our customers in developing the specifications necessary to meet purity requirements.
High purity non-metallic PVC; CPVC; PFA; PVDF lined products, etc. In compliance with standards for deionized water service and other high purity fluid applications. |

Electropolishing:
The HPT electropolishing process produces passivated, corrosion resistant, smooth and bright surfaces on stainless steel. RA surface finishes of 10-15 RA with metal removal less than .001 are obtainable. HPT can apply its technology to various customer components to produce the quality necessary for critical surface finish requirements.
Our in-house capability for tube is 1/4"OD to 1"OD in 20 foot lengths. Fittings 1/4"OD to 8"OD. Consult HPT for larger sizes.
Material:
Approved material for processing shall be 304/304L, 316/316L, cold drawn, hydrogen bright annealed, with sulfur controlled between .005% and .017%. It must conform to ASTM-A269, ASTM-A213, and or ASTM-A270 specifications with a minimum RA of 15.
This process is designed to produce an ultra smooth/particulate free electro polished product for use in gas transport and containment systems. Standard product surface smoothness is:
UP to 1.0" - AVG OF 10 RA
OVER 1.5" - AVG OF 15 RA |

Mechanical Polishing:
Material:
Approved material for processing shall be 304/304L, 316/316L, cold drawn, hydrogen bright annealed, with sulfur controlled between .005% and .017%. It must conform to ASTM-A269, ASTM-A213, and or ASTM-A270 specifications. Pipe must conform to ASTM-A312. Products are progressively mechanically polished to customer specified ID/OD.
This process is designed to produce a smooth/particulate free polished product for use in gas transport and containment systems. |
